Asian stocks decline on China growth concerns

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The stock markets across the Asia retreated from the one-month high levels as the concerns of a economic slowdown resurfaced after an official data released earlier today highlighted the weakness in the Chinese manufacturing and Service sector.

The Hang Seng has lost 0.34%, while the Nifty is down 0.187%. The Asx lost 0.36%, while Nzx 50 added 0.6%. The Kospi fell 0.6% after being dragged down by the exporter stocks on concerns that the weakness in the Yen will make Japanese exporters more competitive.

Meanwhile, the Nikkei gained another 4.83%, tracking a sharp rise in the USD/JPY exchange rate. Elsewhere, the S&P futures slipped 0.12% after closing at a record high on Friday.
