USD/CNY fix model: Projection 181 pips higher to 6.5702 - Nomura

Nomura's model projects the fix to be higher by 181 pips from the previous fix (6.5702 from 6.5521) and lower by 91 pips from the previous spot USD/CNY official close (6.5793).

USD/JPY: bonaces back from from 12 day lows

USD/JPY was a strong trade to the downside in the US dollar's sell-off and while investors also ran for cover with global falling, despite a comeback by the close in the US. The Yen was sold off and USD/JPY climbed up from the lows down on the 117.04 low and managed a score on the 118 handle at a high of 118.23 the high in early Asia.

China A50 futures up by almost 1%

China futures (A50 FTSE - benchmark for investors to access the China domestic market through A Shares – ) is trading up by 0.93% following the recovery seen in the SP500 and the moderate losses of -0.35% in the Shanghai Composite during Wednesday.
