Italy's PM-designate has left presidential palace without comment - Reuters

Following today's meeting, a presidential spokesman told reporters that Italy's PM-designate, who left the palace and didn't make any comments, would meet with the president again on Wednesday, as reported by Reuters. During the meeting today, the PM-designate was expected to present a list of ministers to the president.

The EUR/USD pair came under a modest pressure following this development and was last seen trading at 1.1550, where it was down more than 70 pips, or nearly 0.7%, on the day.
