USD/CHF rises for the first time in a week

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The US dollar is rising modestly against the Swiss franc with USD/CHF unable to rise back above 0.9600.

The pair rose earlier to 0.9600 but then pulled back. The retreat from the highs found support at 0.9515/20 and currently trades at 0.9565/70, at the highest level since the beginning of the American session, up 0.45% for the day.

Greenback is rising across the board on Monday, posting the first gain in a week. USD/CHF last week opened trading above 0.9800 but then dropped sharply, reaching levels under 0.9500 but managed to rise back above.

The short term outlook continues to favor the downside, but the area around 0.9480 is a strong support level that capped the downside in March and several times in April. From there the pair is rising.
