USD/MXN rises to 1-month highs
FXStreet (Córdoba) - The mexican peso was recovering ground against the US dollar but reversed the short term trend on Friday and today rose further, hitting the weakest level since March 13.
USD/MXN opened the week trading around 15.300 but then turned to the upside, and climbed to 15.40. Recently broke to the upside and peaked at 15.46. Greenback remains near the highs consolidating gains. From Friday’s lows the pair rose 2.25% and is about to post the highest daily close in a month.
USD/MXN technical levels
To the upside, resistance levels might lie at 15.465, 15.520 and 15.565 (March 13 high). On the opposite direction support could be located at 15.420 (March 15 high) and 15.365.
